Regulating Body

We are regulated by Healthcare Improvement Scotland, a division of the Scottish Government.  They ask us to comply with national health standards and inspect us to make sure we are delivering good quality of care.

Clinical Revalidation

Our doctors are members of the General Medical Council and our nurses are members of the Nursing and Midwifery Council.  Clinicians are required to participate in their body’s revalidation programme to evidence they are fit to practice.  Doctors are required to revalidate every five years, and nurses every three years.
